Inside Sales Overview:

Overview: We are seeking a driven and talented Inside Sales Representative to join our team and help us continue to grow our customer base in the building materials industry. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, providing product information and quotes, and processing orders via phone and email. You will also identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow our customer base
  • Communicate with customers, providing product information and quotes for a range of metal building components, including roofing and siding systems, structural components, and accessories
  • Process orders using Salesforce and a proprietary ERP system
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to customers
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in building materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis on written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus
  • Aptitude for learning new systems
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel)
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and customer relationships

Requirements: Must be available to work a schedule of 8am through 5pm with one hour for lunch Must be able to work in front of a computer for most of the day
